    The Success Center is your home for onboarding, training, new user information, the product knowledge base, and official product documentation to learn more about our server monitoring software.

    The customer portal is where you can submit a help desk ticket, find all of the information about the products you own, and see available hotfixes and upgrades as well as training opportunities for your products.

  • What kinds of changes can be monitored?
    Many items can be monitored

    Server Configuration Monitor can monitor file changes, hardware changes, software changes, registry changes, and more.

  • How is this bundle licensed?
    SAM and SCM are licensed separately.

    SCM is licensed by the number of nodes that will be monitored. A node is defined as a server, virtual machine, virtual host, or OS instance.

    SAM is licensed by nodes. A node is an entity in which data is extracted directly via an Orion polling method such as SNMP, ICMP, WMI, or API. Data pulled through these polling methods populate advanced SAM features such as AppInsight™, templates, components, IT inventory management, hardware monitoring, and more.

  • Can I purchase SAM and SCM as standalone products?
    Yes, you can purchase SAM and SCM as standalone products.

    SCM and SAM may be purchased separately. If you decide later that you would like the other product, it is easy to add to your existing instance.
